A Brief History
"Electrocon"Ltd was founded immediately after the WWII and operated under different names until today.
Initially, the company was responsible for the installation of diesel power plants in cities, regional centers and rural areas, as well as the construction of power grids in the settlements of the former MSSR.
With the rise of mass electrification, in the late fifties, early sixties of the last century, the company was the main contractor for the construction of the backbone networks of 35-110kV, switchgear installations and transformer substations 110/35/10/0.4kV.

Under this name, "Electrocon" Ltd, the company operates since 1997 after the conversion of trust "Moldelektrosetstroy" in the joint-stock company with 100% state capital.
In 2011 the company was acquired by LLC "Vinamex". The new investor has retained the basic activities of the company invests heavily in its development, the acquisition of new equipment.
The company has maintained its leading position in the field of power network construction in the Republic of Moldova.

Organizational structure.
"Electrocon" Ltd is a legal entity registered in the State Registration Chamber of Moldova under the number 1003600025379. Registered address of  "Electrocon" Ltd is 19 Maria Dragan St., MD-2075, Chisinau City, Republic of Moldova.

The company has three production sites in several areas of the country:
Branch number 1 – Donduseni;
Branch number 2 – Chisinau;
Branch number 3 - Orhei;
Production base part of 2nd branch in Cimislia;
Production base part of 2nd branch in Hincesti.

The city of Chisinau is the central office of the enterprise, the branch number 2, the central warehouse, machine shops, motor transport shop, the marketing department.
All construction sites outside of Chisinau have their production bases, offices, storage space for materials and vehicles. Sections are connected to the networks of electricity, water and gas.
To perform construction works "Electrocon" Ltd is equipped with more than 116 units of construction machinery, including:
- Car cranes 16, 25 and 32 tons, including two cranes with a lifting capacity of 32 tons and boom up to 32 meters.
- Drilling Rig MB 205D, MRC - 12 units.
- Motor hydraulic lifting height: 17, 18, 22 and 26 meters - 5 units.
- Trucks with trailers - 8 units, including two trailers for the transport of long loads up to 26 meters.

Staff Qualification
The company constantly employs over 280 people. Including 231 workers and 48 engineers of various specialities. Of these, 18 engineering technicians are certified foremen, masters and chiefs of construction and installation sites, engaged in the construction of energy facilities.
